What are the chains and guards on doors for?

Modern door chain locks  include  protection in a  comparable  method to a bolt.  They  enable a door to be opened to  around 150 mm and still keep it  firmly  attached.  The  passenger can  examine a caller's  identification  prior to fully  unlocking.



A 'door guard'  offers  excellent  protection and is  much more  durable than  several door chains. The  round  handle enters the gap between the metal bars in the closed-door position but the gap in the slide bar is not  broad  sufficient to release it when the door is open.



The 'Security-chain' is concealed in the door  framework and has a push button operation for  fast,  simple locking. Like other  chains and guards , it can  just be unlocked when the door is closed.
